Discounts for category III and IV vehicles through ETC permanent transfer order
Category III and IV vehicles using permanent transfer orders on their cards , INA and DKV receive an annual discount on toll charges of 30.43% in the period from January 1st to December 31st of the current year.
Additional discount means discount additionally approved on top of the annual discount, for vehicles of Euro emission class EURO 4 in the amount of 3% and for vehicles of Euro emission class EURO 5 in the amount of 5%. The stated discount can be acquired only through ETC devices bound to a certain vehicle (vehicle registration) and signing of a new service contract.
Documents which have to be submitted for proof of vehicle emission class:
- Vehicles with Croatian registration plates prove their compliance with EURO 5 requirements concerning noise and exhaust as well as safety requests by their vehicle registration card and certificate of title to the motor vehicle with entered conformity to the EURO standard.
- Vehicles with Croatian registration plates prove their compliance with EURO 4 requirements concerning noise and exhaust as well as safety requests by a “Certificate from an authorized representative of the manufacturer”, is the vehicle registration card and certificate of title to the motor vehicle do not have a reference to conformity with the EURO standard.
- Vehicles with foreign registration plates prove their compliance with EURO 4 and EURO 5 requirements by a “Certificate from an authorized vehicle manufacturer in the country of vehicle registry”.
Users entering the ETC postpaid system for the first time, along with the stated documents must also present a credit card for the activation of a permanent transfer order for payment via ETC device bound to the vehicle registration plate.
The revised General conditions contain a clause stating that HAC has a right to issue an invoice to the User for the difference to the full price of the toll fee, in the event when the user switches the ETC device from one to the other vehicle, so the registration of the vehicle on the ETC device does not correspond to the registration plate on the vehicle.
